Brothers and sisters,\u00a0
\nI could not talk to you as spiritual people,
\nbut as fleshly people, as infants in Christ.
\nI fed you milk, not solid food,
\nbecause you were unable to take it.
\nIndeed, you are still not able, even now,
\nfor you are still of the flesh.
\nWhile there is jealousy and rivalry among you,
\nare you not of the flesh, and walking\u00a0
\naccording to the manner of man?
\nWhenever someone says, \u201cI belong to Paul,\u201d and another,
\n\u201cI belong to Apollos,\u201d are you not merely men?<\/p>\n

What is Apollos, after all, and what is Paul?
\nMinisters through whom you became believers,
\njust as the Lord assigned each one.
\nI planted, Apollos watered, but God caused the growth.
\nTherefore, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything,
\nbut only God, who causes the growth.
\nHe who plants and he who waters are one,
\nand each will receive wages in proportion to his labor.
\nFor we are God\u2019s co-workers;\u00a0
\nyou are God\u2019s field, God\u2019s building.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After Jesus left the synagogue, he entered the house of Simon.
\nSimon\u2019s mother-in-law was afflicted with a severe fever,
\nand they interceded with him about her.
\nHe stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her.
\nShe got up immediately and waited on them.<\/p>\n

At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases
\nbrought them to him.
\nHe laid his hands on each of them and cured them.
\nAnd demons also came out from many, shouting, \u201cYou are the Son of God.\u201d
\nBut he rebuked them and did not allow them to speak
\nbecause they knew that he was the Christ.<\/p>\n

At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place.
\nThe crowds went looking for him, and when they came to him,
\nthey tried to prevent him from leaving them.
\nBut he said to them, \u201cTo the other towns also
\nI must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God,
\nbecause for this purpose I have been sent.\u201d
