Reading I Rv 21:9b-14<\/a><\/h4>\n

The angel spoke to me, saying,
\n\u201cCome here.
\nI will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.\u201d
\nHe took me in spirit to a great, high mountain
\nand showed me the holy city Jerusalem
\ncoming down out of heaven from God.
\nIt gleamed with the splendor of God.
\nIts radiance was like that of a precious stone,
\nlike jasper, clear as crystal.
\nIt had a massive, high wall,
\nwith twelve gates where twelve angels were stationed
\nand on which names were inscribed,
\nthe names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
\nThere were three gates facing east,
\nthree north, three south, and three west.
\nThe wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation,
\non which were inscribed the twelve names
\nof the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nBut Nathanael said to him,
\n\u201cCan anything good come from Nazareth?\u201d
\nPhilip said to him, \u201cCome and see.\u201d
\nJesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him,
\n\u201cHere is a true child of Israel.
\nThere is no duplicity in him.\u201d
\nNathanael said to him, \u201cHow do you know me?\u201d\u00a0
\nJesus answered and said to him,
\n\u201cBefore Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.\u201d
\nNathanael answered him,
\n\u201cRabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.\u201d
\nJesus answered and said to him,
\n\u201cDo you believe
\nbecause I told you that I saw you under the fig tree?
\nYou will see greater things than this.\u201d
\nAnd he said to him, \u201cAmen, amen, I say to you,
\nyou will see heaven opened and the angels of God
