Baptism is the most important gift you can give your child! Through the waters of Baptism, we are washed free from original sin and made a part of the family of God. The Sacrament of Baptism is the gateway through which we enter the Church. Moms and Dads are called to be the first and best teachers of the faith for their children. The Church wants to help you in this most sacred duty.
Baptism Preparation
Baptism Preparation here at Our Lady of Lourdes is designed to help you and your family prepare for this important event in the life of your child. Our process includes a combination of online videos that you’ll watch on your own and a meeting with parish staff.
If you’re not already active, registered members of the Our Lady of Lourdes community, the first step in the process is to get registered. Click here for information on how to get registered.
Once you’re an active, registered parishioner you’ll need to contact the parish office to pick up a Baptism Prep Packet and set a tentative date for your child’s baptism. The Packet will include instructions on how to complete the process.
