Lourdes Catholic School offers students in grades 6-8 an opportunity to participate in the following athletic events:
- Girls’ Basketball (August – October)
- Girls’ Volleyball (October – December)
- Boys’ Basketball (December – February)
- Cheerleading (December-February)
Each team will participate in a five-team league along with St. Joe’s of DeWitt, Our Lady of Victory of Davenport, All Saints of Davenport, and St. Paul the Apostle of Davenport. At the end of each season, there is a tournament for teams to compete to crown a league champion and to be the recipient of a traveling trophy.
Each team is coached by a Lourdes parent and teams can expect to practice between 1-2 times a week with games falling on either Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday nights with some Sunday afternoon games occurring as well.
