"In the wake of the recent acts of violence that have shaken Annunciation Catholic School and the greater Minneapolis community, we encourage parents and educators to come together to offer not only our prayers but support. These events have left many feeling vulnerable, searching for comfort and reassurance, and seeking the hope that our faith inspires. In times of darkness, we are called as Christians to be bearers of light, to remember the words of Christ: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you” (John 14:27). It is in this spirit of peace, solidarity, and unwavering faith that we reaffirm our commitment to the values that define us and the mission that guides our Catholic schools as well as Annunciation Catholic School." - Bishop Dennis Walsh

If you missed out on ordering uniform tops or spiritwear, our next online shop is open for a short time, for quick production and delivery. Please note that there are two separate links to make clear what is acceptable for uniform days and what is considered spiritwear for Fridays. Parents are also welcome to order adult size polos and sweatshirts from the uniform store!
Stores are open through Monday, September 1st with delivery after school on September 23rd.

Where did all those cute hats I have seen come from (sorry in advance for the ignorance- we are brand new here🙃)
Can students wear spirit wear every Friday? They just need to wear it with their uniform bottoms? Also, will there be Middle School Sweatshirts this year?
Can plain crew neck sweatshirts and 1/4 zip pullover sweatshirts be worn? Or are they allowed only if the SJA logo is on them?

Our Cub Scouts are hosting their first meeting next Tuesday! Current Scouts should plan to attend and any boys or girls in grades Kindergarten-5th grade who are interested in joining should attend, for more information. Pack 199 Scout meetings will be held one Tuesday and one Wednesday evening, each month. Various optional weekend activities for the whole family, are also available.
This first meeting will be held at Lourdes, while we work on getting schedules at SJA finalized!

Please give everyone grace and patience as we adjust to our pick-up plans at the new school. Our number one goal is student safety, not speed!
Please take a moment to review the drawing and video. If you have family or babysitters picking up your students, please share this with them too.

I guess I missed the touring of the new St. Joan of Arc Catholic School? We signed the beams and never got to see that or the school.

3:20 pick-up will be here before you know it - watch our video, courtesy of Mr. Flaherty, below!
#1 rule from Lourdes still applies - cars always pull through to leave, no reversing!
