I started at Lourdes Catholic School student teaching in 2002.
I have been a member of St. John Vianney for over 20 years. I graduated from St. Ambrose University with a BA in Education with a reading endorsement. I have gone on to continue my education through Drake.
I love teaching students, being able to see their minds build with knowledge, to see their enthusiasm, and excitement grow. I love to teach hands-on science to see students’ excitement and curiosity explored, but also love to read with students to see them engaged and get lost in a good book.
I have been married to my husband, Chad, since May 2001. I have three children: Kelsey and Avery are in college at the University of Iowa, and Mason is here at LCS. In March 2018 we adopted a rescue dog, Dixie, to complete our family!
In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also love to read! I am very involved in activities/volunteering with school and my children anything from Boy Scouts, Vacation Bible School, and on Home and School.
I am very excited to be in second grade where I can share my love and faith of God and sharing two sacraments with my students.
