My name is Leeanna Holmes, and I am happy to be part of the Lourdes community this year! While this is my first year at Lourdes, it is my 18th year in education at both parochial and public schools. After graduating from Indiana University, I taught 5th grade at St. Michael the Archangel School in Indianapolis. Then, I moved to Ottumwa, Iowa, to teach 6th grade - and to marry my husband, Mike! We then moved to Creston, Iowa, where I switched to first grade and later welcomed my children, Greyson and Bronwyn, into our family. We ventured to northern Maine to experience real winter before moving back south to Ohio, where I most recently taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students. My family and I are happy to be finally settling in LeClaire and exploring the Quad Cities. We enjoy visiting as many state and national parks, baseball games, and unique area events as we can, but I also enjoy cozying up on the couch with a good book or going on a run.
